Richard Norris is our Senior Pastor, and he and his wife Shanon along with their two children moved to Denton in the summer of 2007. Richard youth pastored for over 15 years, but God developed a real passion in his heart to one day pastor a thriving church where people could connect with God and connect with one another in a real way. That dream became reality, and over the past year the church has experienced incredible growth. The best news is that we know that it’s just the beginning of what God wants to do here in the Denton area.

Shanon has an amazing heart for kids and extensive background in Children’s Ministry. She does an incredible job in creating both a high-energy and creative service geared just for kids, but with a focus to teach kids about having a real relationship with God in a relevant way.

Anthony Grizzard grew up in the Houston area and is currently a sophomore at Southwestern A/G in Waxahachie, TX. Anthony is highly energetic and passionate about reaching this generation of students for Christ. He has a never ending list of amazing games and is sometimes considered to be a ninja with the nickname, “Blacky Chan”.

Charity moved to Denton in the fall of 2009. She is a music major with a concentration in voice at the University of North Texas. Besides her passion for music, Charity longs to see people truly connect with God in a genuine and intimate way through worship.

Doug recently moved to Denton with his beautiful Wife, Amy, and three children, Hannah, Ainsley & Elijah. Doug grew up a little bit of everywhere, but according to him “nowhere cool”. God has given him a passion for people and their story and helping them discover God’s destiny for their lives. They’re excited to be working with the Connect Groups here at Eaglepointe and to help empower people to grow in their walk with Christ while living life together.

Naomi has several years of experience with kids and she combines that experience with a real passion for children to worship and learn about God on their level. She is doing a great job handling all of our growth while maintaining excellence in all of the different classes.
